We have been joining the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair since 2014. As a medical facility producer, most of our clients are from the local hospitals. I am glad that I met nearly 100 representatives from various hospitals. I estimate that this fair will make up over 60% of our yearly sales. Taking this chance to interact with our target audiences, understand what they need and how they think is very important to our business. The fair is not just for generating sales but also the perfect place to gain insight.
We are a startup company established in 2018, focusing on developing hard tech and robot AI technology. Recently, our invention has obtained a patent. Since our products are still very new, we urgently need face-to-face interactions with our potential buyers. This Medical fair gave us the rare opportunity to meet with decision-makers from hospitals and nursing homes. Also, we talked with possible buyers from the Hospital Authority. They gave insightful suggestions on how to modify the models to suit their demands better. Our conversations greatly enhanced the possibility of striking a deal and gave our products a chance to appear in public hospitals.
Knowing that marketing decision-makers from local hospitals and non-profit healthcare institutions, our target customers, are active participants in the fair, we joined the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair with our latest products of rehabilitation pieces of equipment. We met quite a few potential buyers, which I estimate will make up millions in revenue in the long run. We were also glad to have met some new potential buyers from industries we had little connections with at the Fair, such as physiotherapists from private clinics and beauty centres.
We are a medical equipment and software developer looking for B2B partners. We have met with around twenty private businesses at the Medical Fair. I foresee that the opportunities we created here can make up approximately 10% growth to our project. Most of our new contacts are from the medical business sector, but there were also unexpected connections. For instance, one large telecom company (for internal ref: China Mobile) expressed their interest in collaborating with us and see the potential of our products becoming an add-on service for their customers. Thanks to the fair, we discovered possibilities to work with companies from industries that were foreign to us.
Most of our products are high-value-added medical tech products that require extensive research and much consideration by the buyers before placing an order. The fair provided an excellent opportunity for physiotherapists to have first-hand experience with our product, and we can also get feedback from them, which is very useful for our further R&D and marketing strategies. During the fair, over ten physiotherapists and representatives from rehabilitation centres showed interest in developing business relationships further. As a returning exhibitor, we intend to join the fair again next year.
We chose the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair for our first attempt to enter the Hong Kong market. We came to test the market and meet new retailers and distributors. We encountered many potential buyers, one of which was a retailer from Seoul, South Korea. Besides the local market, we also target to expand our business to the Greater Bay Area in the future. With its international and restrict-free background, we believe Hong Kong is the ideal place to begin the campaign.
We are an R&D company specialising in Nanofiber technology. We focused on producing masks during the pandemic, but recently we are about to introduce new medical products applied with our latest Nanofiber techniques, like diapers and filters. The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair enabled us to promote our yet-to-publish products to our potential customers. We expect to generate around 300 leads.. In the past, most of our customers were from Mainland China, and this fair provided us with an excellent opportunity to meet international buyers since the pandemic.
Our company is an elderly service provider. We are looking for various healthcare products, such as wheelchairs and alcohol pads, for the fast-growing market in Thailand. Indeed, I met a lot of good exhibitors at this fair and found some potential products that would give us an edge. I expect to place an order of US$15,000 worth of products. This is my second time joining the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. Compared to the other fairs, this fair impressed me the most with its wide variety of products.
As a manufacturer of medical disposables from Taiwan, we are looking for sources of materials that can be useful to our production. The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair's multinational background attracted us. In fact, I have already exchanged contacts with a few companies where I plan to proceed to further collaborating stages. One is a solution supplier from the UK. For a long time, we could not find a medical glove supplier at a satisfying price, but we finally discovered one here. I believe one of the most significant advantages here, an Asian international hub, is that people can find suppliers at competitive prices.
This is my second time coming to the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. I learned how quickly the automatisation and digitalisation of medical services are growing at this fair, and I connected with four of these AI or tech manufacturers. They all offered products I have never seen. In addition, I exchanged contacts with over 50 people, and have already fixed some meetings for further discussion. I have been using the Click2Match business matching platform too. Some people may not be comfortable with online platforms, but I believe it will be a game changer. I am astonished by how efficient and easy meeting new business partners can be.
We are looking for suppliers to support expanding our laboratory business in the Philippines. I have already made 8 to 10 valuable connections in just two days, we are also planning to study further and potentially place an order. The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair is unique for the wide range of choices of Asian suppliers. Suppliers from Hong Kong and China are increasingly attractive to us. They are expanding quickly, offer cost-effective solutions, possess new technologies, and are close to Southeast Asia.
We are interested in expanding to our fourth branch in Russia recently. As a nutritionist and development manager, I came to the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair to look for helpful supplement providers that can help with our expansion. During my stay, I talked with about 25 companies, and I intend to do business with at least five of them. I am particularly interested in two of the Hong Kong supplement suppliers. In addition to the fair, I was also impressed by the concurrent Asia Global Health Summit and the Click2Match platform as a value-added service, which provided me with insights into current medical trends and business connections.
With 35 years of history, our company specialises in rehabilitation equipment and has business connections in over 50 countries worldwide. This is my first-time visit to the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. I came to find new solutions, software, and devices in the rehabilitation field that could be offered to the Polish market. It was easy to locate quality partners that are right for our business here. Just on the first day of the fair, I have already connected with contacts whom we think have rooms great for further cooperation. Hong Kong is a new market for us, and it definitely has great potential.
I joined the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair to look for new medical uniform manufacturers. I met around ten of them, two of whom I will have a high chance of placing an order. I am planning to order about US$200,000 worth of products and hope to build a long-term relationship with them. Besides, I made an interesting connection with a manufacturer from Mainland China that I want to further develop business ties with on Click2Match. The online business matching platform is very helpful in getting to know people entirely out of our usual circle.
I came from Singapore to find distributors of medical products. My last visit to Hong Kong was 20 years ago, and recently I am exploring the possibilities of expanding our business to Hong Kong from Malaysia, Thailand, and Iraq. I talked with more than 30 exhibitors at this Medical fair and about 20 people on the Click2Match platform, and I saw the potential of starting a business with 4-5 distributors. In the following year, I plan to invest around US$150,000 in the companies I met at the Medical fair, and I look forward to building long-term relationships.
